LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree Athletics hosted their second annual Women's History Month Luncheon on Tuesday, March 25 to honor and celebrate the contributions of women at McKendree University.
This luncheon was held to honor the strength and excellence of women that enrich our community. Women's History Month promotes and encourages inclusivity, emphasizing that everyone deserves to be recognized.
"Celebrating Women's History Month is more than reflection—it's a call to action. Hosting our second annual women's luncheon fosters camaraderie in our Bearcat community and honors the contributions of women on our campus," added Director of Volleyball, Head Men's Volleyball Coach, and Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Nickie Sanlin. "By recognizing their achievements and supporting women in leadership, we create a future where every woman has the opportunity to lead, inspire, and thrive the next generation."
