INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Great Lakes Valley Conference - McKendree University softball (32-19, 18-10 GLVC) earned the four-seed in the upcoming 2025 GLVC Championship Tournament and heads up to East Peoria, Illinois and the EastSide Centre for the first round of the tournament, which sees the Bearcats battle the fifth-seeded Prairie Stars of Illinois Springfield. McKendree closed out its regular season with a 3-1 weekend, including a sweep of Upper Iowa on April 27 after splitting at Quincy on April 25, with the sweep moving the Bearcats up to fourth in the league standings. The Bearcats posted a second consecutive 30-win season while collecting a third-straight bid to postseason play at the GLVC tournament. Fourth-seeded McKendree will kick off the championship tournament at 12:00PM on April 30 with its battle versus the five-seed UIS on the championship field at the EastSide Centre.

The 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Championship will be held on April 30- May 3 at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Illinois. It will mark the 21st-straight GLVC Softball Championship that will be held at the EastSide Centre. The 2025 event will also mark the 41st annual postseason affair. Eight teams will vie for the 2025 GLVC crown and the opportunity to represent the Conference in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.

• Tickets must be purchased in advance online at Featured Ticket Link; no cash accepted on site
• Admittance will begin one hour prior to first game
