LOUISVILLE, Ky. | National Fastpitch Coaches Association - McKendree University softball (33-21, 18-10 GLVC) added another postseason honor on Thursday with junior shortstop Lauren Harris collecting NFCA First Team All-Midwest Region laurels, her third-straight All-Region selection and second consecutive First Team nod from the NFCA. Harris earned her second First Team selection of the spring after being named unanimous First Team All-GLVC while it becomes her third NFCA regional award after getting the First Team nod in 2024 as a sophomore and a Second Team nod in 2023 as a freshman. The junior Bearcat looks to become a three-time All-American after another record-setting, impressive campaign, after being named First Team in 2024 and Third Team in 2023. McKendree and Harris concluded the 2025 season in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament during the first week of May, falling in a third-round elimination game, after earning the four seed in a second-straight 30-win campaign.
