Lebanon, IL - It was an exciting day on the campus of McKendree University, as the 15th-ranked Bearcat Softball team started the day in the campus's Hall of Fame Room, awaiting their postseason fate. McKendree would be awarded the No. 2 seed in the Midwest 2 Regional, the highest postseason seed in program history. The seed warrants hosting games at Bearcat Field, as the Bearcats will welcome the No. 3 seed Findlay Oilers, No. 6 seed Missouri S&T Miners, and the No. 7 seed Rockhurst Hawks. McKendree opens up with a fourth consecutive game against Rockhurst, while Findlay and Missouri S&T will battle in the other first round game.
