LEBANON, Ill. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced their 2026 women's All-America selections, with McKendree junior center Bella Morquecho (Chicago, Ill.) earning a spot on the First Team list.
This marks the second consecutive year that Morquecho has been bestowed with the association's First Team nod, as she joins former teammate Joey Rebeo, along with Brianna Mullalley and Emily Westlove as the only other Bearcats to receive the accolade twice. Current Graduate Assistant Coach Sydney Kane also took home ACWPC All-America alongside Morquecho at the end of the 2025 season.
This year, Morquecho received her second Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) First Team All-Conference award as a Bearcat in as many years with the program. She picked up the WWPA Offensive Player of the Week accolade back on January 29th after a nine-goal week against a plethora of top 25 competition.
Playing in all 29 games this season, she recorded a hat-trick in nine of them and shot 50.0% or better at the net in 16. Her ability to draw the fouls was immense, as she had 17 outings with three-plus drawn exclusions.
The Chicago product finished the season top-10 in the WWPA in total goals (5th – 58) and goals per game (T-5th – 2.0). She led the team in shot attempts (124), goals (58), and drawn exclusions (91).
