Lebanon, IL - The postseason is on the horizon for the 17th-ranked McKendree University Softball team, and honors are still coming through. Monday afternoon, the Great Lakes Valley Conference announced the Bearcats' Sami Huck as the league's Pitcher of the Week. It was a remarkable weekend for Huck, who had an effectively blemish-free line after McKendree shut out both Upper Iowa and Quincy to conclude regular-season play. 

Huck started the weekend with an outing on her Senior Day, Saturday, against Upper Iowa. While the Bearcats won, the senior struck out five (three of which were looking), adding up to her 15th shutout of the season. 

Her outing against Quincy was one of many highlights of the weekend. Huck threw yet another no-hitter, her fourth of the season. She also struck out 12 of the 15 possible outs she faced. 

Huck's full pitching line for the week: (2-0), 0.00 ERA, 10 innings, 3 hits, 0 earned runs, 4 walks, 17 strikeouts, .700 WHIP, .086 batting average against. 

For the season, Huck is up to a (21-6) record with a 1.72 ERA, 166.2 innings, 35 walks, 223 strikeouts, .882 WHIP, and a .185 batting average against.
