BEFORE McK: Was an honorable mention All-State selection by the IHSFCA as a senior at Normal West High School...grabbed first-team All-Conference honors in each of his last two seasons for the Wildcats...also served as team captain as a senior...helped team to four playoff appearances as well as a conference title as a senior.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kristin Potts.
