Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2020): Started in six games, including five behind the plate...batted a career-best .292 with two homers and eight RBI...was tied for second on the team in round-trippers...had two multi-hit performances and drove in a season-high four runs against Hillsdale on March 1...grabbed Academic All-GLVC accolades. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Appeared in 27 games with 24 starts behind the plate...had two doubles and two homers while driving in four runs...had a two-hit performance at Southwest Baptist on April 16.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018):Played in 22 games with 17 starts behind the plate...batted .192 with two home runs and seven RBI...had a two-hit, two-RBI performance at Maryville on Feb. 23...named to the Academic All-GLVC team. 

BEFORE McK: Was a four-year varsity starter at Manteno High School...hit .282 with two home runs and 27 RBI as a junior for the Panthers...was a two-time honorable mention All-Conference selection...also received All-Area mention...threw out 45 percent of potential base stealers as a junior.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kimberly and James McCormick.
