Biography

2022: Tossed 15.0 innings with 12 relief appearances…recorded WHIP of 1.93..finished with an 0-3 record…struck out 25 opposing batters…earned one save…struck out a season-high of five against William Jewell (5/1) in two innings

AS A JUNIOR (2020): Led staff with three saves and a 1.12 earned-run average in seven relief outings...struck out 13 batters in just eight innings of work...fanned two batters each in six of his seven appearances...named to the Academic All-GLVC team. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Appeared in 10 games out of the bullpen...went 1-3 on the year...picked up his lone win of the year with two innings of solid relief against Quincy on March 1...garnered Academic All-GLVC accolades.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Pitched in nine games, with four starts...fanned 14 batters over 18 2/3 innings on the mound...collected Academic All-GLVC honors. 

BEFORE McK: Went a perfect 8-0 with a 2.14 earned-run average in 11 starts as a junior at Belleville West High School…led the Maroons with 77 strikeouts in 72 innings of work…ranked 11th in the St. Louis metro area in total strikeouts…also ranked among area top performers in win percentage and overall victories…tossed five complete games as a junior…was a first-team All-Conference and All-Area selection…missed senior season due to injury...played for former Bearcat infielder Todd Baltz at Belleville West.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Margaret and Ron Vallandingham.
