AS A JUNIOR (2018): Played in 29 games with 19 starts in the outfield...batted .246 with one home run and eight RBI...had a season-high three RBI against Southern Indiana on April 29...also added three stolen bases...was a .286 hitter against GLVC competition...named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

BEFORE McK: Started 49 games and hit .303 with three home runs, six doubles, 17 runs batted in and 16 stolen bases at Lewis and Clark Community College…batted .356 with five home runs, 25 RBI and 18 steals as a senior at Edwardsville High School…was a first-team All-Metro, All-Area and All-Conference honoree as a senior for the Tigers…played in the Illinois vs. Missouri All-Star Game, where he was also a Home Run Derby participant.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Brent Werner and Tracy Werner.
