AS A SENIOR (2020): Hit .278 with six runs batted in...started all 15 games including 11 at first base and four at third base...was tied for second on the squad with 15 hits..was third in runs scored with 10 and walks with eight...tied for second with four multi-hit outings, including a three-hit game against Hillsdale on Feb. 29...finished the season with a nine-game on-base streak and a six-game hitting tear...named to the Academic All-GLVC squad.

AS A JUNIOR (2019): Batted .211 with two RBI in 27 games...made 15 starts, with nine coming behind the plate...had a pair of hits in two different games...garnered Academic All-Conference honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

BEFORE McK: Hit .352 with eight RBI as a sophomore at Southwestern Illinois College...also added three stolen bases for the Blue Storm...batted .541 and posted a 0.49 earned-run average as a senior at Belleville West High School...was a two-time All-Conference honoree for the Maroons...garnered All-State mention as a utility player during his senior year.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Dave and Susie Kossina...is the younger brother of former McKendree infielder/outfielder Tony Kossina, who played for the Bearcats from 2011-14.
