AS A 5TH YEAR (2022-23): Appeared in all 33 games for the Bearcats, making 3 starts... averaged 2.8 points per game... shot 37.8% from the field, 25% from three-point territory and 63.2% from the free throw line.

AS A SENIOR (2021-22): Started all 26 games for the Bearcats...recorded seven double-digit scoring games including a career-high 17 points against Quincy (1/20) and at Missouri S&T (2/10)...averaged 7.7 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game...recorded the team's third-highest field goal percentage at 43 percent and shot 38 percent from the three-point line...led the team with 18 blocked shots for the season.

AS A JUNIOR (2020-21): Appeared in 17 games making nine starts...  recorded 44 points with an average 2.6 PPG, 34 rebounds, and and a 43.2 shooting percentage... scored a career-high 10 points at Maryville on February 18, and a career-high 11 rebounds against Drury on February 11

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Played in 24 games, all in a reserve role...averaged three points and 1.4 rebounds per contest...hit 41 percent of his three-point opportunities...scored a season-high eight points in three consecutive outings -- at Rockhurst on Jan. 18, at Southern Indiana on Jan. 20 and at home versus Quincy on Jan. 23.

BEFORE McK: Appeared in 29 games at Southwestern Illinois College, shooting 50 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line...played for former McKendree standout Jon Kraus at Okawville High School...registered 14.7 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots per game as a senior for the Rockets...netted a career-best 31 points in his final season at Okawville, which concluded with an Illinois High School Association Class 1A state championship...garnered Area Small-School Player of the Year accolades, was an All-State selection, and was selected to participate in the Southern Illinois All-Star Game as a senior. 

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 9...son of Edward and Julie Hensler...majoring in Cyberdefense with a minor Computer Information Systems Management...has one brother, Jake...lists the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite sports teams...hopes to get a job in IT in the future.
