2011-12 SEASON: Played in all 30 games, with 20 starts at forward...led the Bearcats in rebounding at 7.5 per game and blocked shots with 26...made a team-best 56.2 percent of his shots from the field...was fourth on the team in scoring at 10.5 points per contest...reached double-digits in the scoring column 18 times, including each of the last five games of the year...had six games with 10 or more rebounds...put up career-high numbers of 27 points and 17 rebounds against Logan on Feb. 17.
2010-11 SEASON: Appeared in 33 of McKendree’s 34 games, earning three starts at center...posted 7.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest...connected on 53.9 percent of his field goal attempts, which was second on squad...finished third on team in rebounding...was also third with 22 blocked shots...scored 20 points on two different occasions -- Feb. 3 against William Woods and March 8 versus Park...pulled down a season-best 13 rebounds in the Bearcats’ NAIA first-round tournament victory over Southern Nazarene...blocked four shots in the same contest.
BEFORE McK: Began his collegiate career at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Ill....averaged 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds during his career with the Loggers...shot nearly 51 percent from the field and 71 percent from the foul line at Lincoln Land...earned three letters in basketball at Freeburg High School...played for coach Donovan McMillian...averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per contest as a senior for the Midgets...was named team Most Valuable Player...earned All-Tournament honors at the Freeburg-Columbia and Triad tournaments.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Stan and Mindy Ruckman...is majoring in Health and Wellness.
