Before McK: Helped lead Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School to a regional championship as a senior...hit .485 with four home runs and 45 RBI in her senior season...was a three-time All-Conference and All-Area honoree for the Falcons...was an All-State honoree as a senior...finished her high school career as Gibson City's career record holder in both batting average and RBI's.

Personal: Daughter of Rick and Julie Bowen.
