Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Had nine starts in his first season with the Bearcats...posted a 3-3 record with a 6.57 earned-run average...was fourth on team with 38 1/3 innings pitched...won first collegiate game by pitching six innings in a 4-0 shutout of Rockhurst on March 17...allowed just two stolen bases in his nine starts...was named to the Academic All-GLVC squad.

BEFORE McK: Led Hancock High School in virtually every pitching category as a senior…went 5-4 for the Tigers with a 1.62 earned-run average as a senior…started eight games and had seven complete games along with 82 strikeouts in 52 innings…ranked sixth in the St. Louis area in strikeouts as a senior…shared conference Player of the Year honors in the South Central AA Conference as a senior…grabbed first-team All-Conference honors three times during his career. 

PERSONAL: Is the son of Sarah Stroup.
