Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2016): Led the team and ranked second in the GLVC with 455 kills while also leading the team in digs with 392 to go with 52 blocks and 40 aces. Started all 33 matches and played in all 120 sets, earning postseason accolades as an AVCA All-Midwest Region honoree and All-American honorable mention. Williams picked up D2CCA All-Midwest Region honors, an All-GLVC First Team nod and was named GLVC Fall Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second time. Recorded a season best 24 kills against William Jewel and a season best 21 digs against Wisconsin-Parkside.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Garnered four major awards including the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year award. Following that initial postseason honor, the outside hitter was named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) DII honorable mention All-American as well as AVCA and D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team, while also being named to the All-GLVC First Team and GLVC Fall Scholar-Athlete of the Year... appeared in all 33 matches for McKendree, totaling 130 sets...led the Bearcats with 458 kills, averaging 3.52 per set adding 451 digs...tallied a team leading 31 service aces.....collected Academic All-GLVC accolades.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Earned several major honors during her first season at McKendree...was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Midwest Region Freshman of the Year...also grabbed GLVC Freshman of the Year honors...became the first McKendree volleyball player to earn either accolade following the Bearcats' transition to NCAA Division II membership...was named as a second-team All-GLVC selection...led McKendree with 417 kills, averaging 3.31 per set...ranked fifth in the conference in kills per set...had at least 10 kills in 25 matches on the season...put down a season-high 30 attacks in a home win over Missouri-St. Louis on Nov. 5...also paced squad with 37 service aces...ranked ninth in the GLVC in aces per set...had four aces in the Bearcats' triumph over Rockhurst in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinals on Nov. 13...finished second on the team with 359 digs...collected 20 or more digs three different times, including a season-high 23 against Rockhurst on Nov. 1...named to the Academic All-GLVC team.
BEFORE McK: Collected 501 kills with 317 digs and 43 service aces as a senior at La Jolla Country Day School in San Diego…posted more than 1,000 career kills, 650 digs and 100 aces for the Torreys…earned first-team All-League and second-team All-CIF honors as a senior...received Division 5 Player of the Year accolades...selected as a player for the San Diego All-Star team...was named Most Valuable Player at the La Jolla High School Beach City Tournament…also received All-Tournament honors at the Asics California Challenge…was a first-team All-League selection and a first-team All-CIF honoree as a junior in 2012…grabbed second-team All-League honors as a sophomore.
