2022: Appeared in four games with four innings pitched…struck out a pair

BEFORE McK: Attended Lincoln Trail college before transferring to McKendree for his junior season. There, Kopff made 13 appearances on the mound, pitching a total 13.2 innings, with 12 BBs, 14 K and a 4.61 ERA as a freshman; made three appearances on wht mound, pitching a total 2.2 innings, with 3 K and a 3.18 ERA as a sophomore. Before his collegiate career, Kopff helped the Dragons of St. Mary's to three District Championships and the 2018 Class 4 State Runner-Up title. As a sophomore, Kopff was a First team All-Conference, Conference Newcomer of the year, and Second-Team All-Conference; making one start, 0-1 record for a total 6.2 innings pitched, with an 8.40 ERA, 5BBs, 2 K, .342 batting average, 26 hits, and 6 RBIs.
