AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played for the Bearcats' junior varsity program.

BEFORE McK: Was a four-year starter at St. Elmo High School...went 10-2 as a starter on the mound for the Eagles as a senior...won 31 games in his four seasons at St. Elmo...set the program's single-game strikeout record...also started at shortstop. 

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kari Beasley...played in 10 games as a reserve for the McKendree men's basketball program in 2014-15.
