Biography

2022: Appeared in five games with one start…tossed 8.2 total innings…finished with an 0-1 record…struck out 10 batters…held opposing batteries to a .182 average with a 1.50 WHIP

AS A JUNIOR (2020): Pitched in three games, all out of the bullpen...worked 1 1/3 innings for the Bearcats.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Appeared in 13 games including seven starts...earned his lone win of the season at home against William Jewell on March 12...struck out a season-best six batters in the same outing...finished four on the team with 28 strikeouts.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Pitched in 15 games, which included one start against Rockhurst on May 1...had a record of 1-2, with the victory coming against UW-Parkside on May 6...struck out 14 batters in 21 2/3 innings of work.

BEFORE McK: Went 7-0 with a 1.58 earned-run average as a senior at Rockwood Summit High School...allowed just nine earned runs as a senior for the Falcons...was a second-team All-Conference honoree as a senior. 

PERSONAL: Is the son of Sandra and Charles Gilles.
