Biography

2017 SEASON: Sat out as a medical redshirt.

AS A JUNIOR (2016): Played in 41 games with 39 starts (23 in OF, 16 as DH)...led the Bearcats with nine home runs and tied for team lead with 27 RBI...also had a team-best .621 slugging percentage...was second on the team with a .326 batting average and 28 runs scored...led squad with eight multi-RBI games...was second on the squad with 13 multi-hit performances...hit .333 in GLVC play with team-leading totals of four homers and 14 RBI.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Appeared in 32 games with 23 starts, primarily in right field...batted .280 with one home run and seven RBI...was second on squad with a .356 average in GLVC play...had eight multi-hit games, including a three-hit effort against Saint Joseph's on April 17...hit .429 when leading off an inning.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Played in 41 games with 29 starts in the outfield...batted .212 with three doubles and 10 runs batted in...led team with eight stolen bases...posted four multiple-hit games and three multiple RBI contests...batted .364 as the leadoff man in an inning.

BEFORE McK: Earned four letters in baseball at Deer Creek-Mackinaw High School...batted .479 with one home run and 25 runs batted in as a senior for the Chiefs...also registered 10 doubles with 20 walks...earned first-team All-Conference honors as a senior and was named team Most Valuable Player...set a team record with 21 doubles as a junior when he hit .380 with three homers and 33 RBI...finished career at Deer Creek-Mackinaw with 112 hits and a .408 batting average...was a two-time Peoria area McDonald's All-Star...led the Chiefs to consecutive conference championships.
