Biography

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2020): Started 11 games in left field...posted a .256 batting average with nine RBI...had one three-hit game against Hillsdale on March 1...reached base in each of his final seven games of the season...earned Academic All-GLVC honors. 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019): Was second on the team with a .312 batting average...addedd three home runs and 12 RBI in 34 starts, which included 19 in right field...was third on the team with 22 runs scored and seven stolen bases...had seven multi-hit outings, including a trio of three-hit games...had the Bearcats' longest streak for reaching base, a 15-game tear from March 10-Aprill 3...named to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Academic All-Conference team.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Sat out as a medical redshirt for the Bearcats... named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

BEFORE McK: Batted .452 with three home runs and 11 RBI as a junior at nearby O'Fallon High School...played shortstop and center field for the Panthers...missed his senior season due to injury.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Katherine Kelly and William Schaefer.
