AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Played in eight games, all in a reserve role...batted .143 with one run batted in...scored twice as a pinch-runner...hit .167 in GLVC action...was named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

BEFORE McK: Played for coach Bret Pignatello at Manteno High School...was an infielder for the Panthers.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Jerry and Carrie Witherow...spent two years as a member of the McKendree football program.
