Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2014): Played in nine games with one start in right field...drove in two runs...was 1-for-5 in pinch-hitting appearances.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013): Saw action in 26 games, collected 17 starts in the outfield for McKendree. batted .171 with four runs batted in...batted .500 when leading off an inning.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 15 games in a reserve role at the varsity level...was hitless in four at-bats with a pair of runs scored.

BEFORE McK: Was a two-time All-Conference honoree at Griggsville-Perry High School...also grabbed second-team All-Area honors as a senior for the Tornadoes...helped team to consecutive regional titles in 2009 and 2010.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Stuart and Missy Hobson.
