Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2017): Played in 39 games, starting 35 on the left side of the Bearcats' infield (16 at third base, 19 at shortstop)...batted .288 with 13 runs batted in...recorded seven doubles and one triple...was second on the squad with 14 walks...had five multi-hit performances, including a four-hit outing against Indianapolis on April 9....hit .281 against conference foes...had a streak of reaching base in 13 straight games from Feb. 18-March 17.

BEFORE McK: Batted .271 in 26 games as a sophomore at Parkland College...had one home run and five runs batted in as a sophomore for the Cobras...posted a .411 average as a senior at Castle High School...was a first-team All-Conference and All-Area selection as a senior for the Knights.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kevin and Teri Wetzler.
