Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2018): Made 12 relief appearances...had a record of 1-2 with a 6.45 ERA...earned his victory at Quincy on March 4...tied for the team lead with two saves, which came against Indianapolis on April 22 and versus UW-Parkside on May 5.

2017 SEASON: Sat out as a red-shirt for the Bearcats.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Made seven relief appearances for the Bearcats...had an 0-1 record with a 10.80 ERA...struck out nine in 8 1/3 innings of work.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Had 11 appearances with five starts on the mound for McKendree...started four times against GLVC opponents. was 1-4 overall with an 8.74 earned-run average...earned his first collegiate victory with a six-inning effort at Lewis on March 30.

BEFORE McK: Posted a 6-2 record with a 1.85 ERA as a senior at Carlyle High School...piled up 48 strikeouts in 53 innings on the mound as a senior for the Indians...led the staff with five complete games, was second in both wins and earned-run average and tied for second in strikeouts...had an identical 6-2 record with a 1.48 ERA and 55 strikeouts as a junior at Carlyle...twice collected first-team All-Conference accolades for the Indians...was a second-team All-Area selection as a senior...played for former McKendree hurler Dusty Barr at Carlyle...also starred in basketball and football in high school.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Brad and Mary Zachry.
