Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2014): Pitched mostly out of the bullpen with just two starts among his 12 appearances...was 1-2 with a 7.12 ERA...had one save which came April 30 against Maryville...fanned 14 batters.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Started 10 games on the mound for McKendree...had a 3-3 record with a 4.31 earned-run average...tossed a pair of complete games with one shutout...earned every decision in GLVC play...was second on staff with 54 1/3 innings pitched.

2012 SEASON: Sat out season as a red-shirt.

BEFORE McK: Won seven games as a senior at Jones College Prep in Chicago...helped lead the Eagles to three regional championships and a pair of sectional titles...played for coach Dave Rosene.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Howard and Karin Sax.
