BEFORE McK: Attended Concordia University-Chicago before transferring to McKendree. There, Dressler recorded the sixth-lowest opponent batting average against for program All-Time (0.230). As a freshman, Dressler had a 3.78 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 2-0 record with two starts in seven appearances on the mound; pitched a total 16.2 innings with 14 H, 16 Ks, and 11 BBs. As a sophomore, Dressler had a 3.57 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 4-0 record with five starts in 12 appearances on the mound; pitched a total 35.1 innings with 31 H, 23 Ks, and 15 BBs. During his junior season, Dressler posted a 4.26 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, 5-2 record with three starts in 17 appearances on the mound; pitched a total 44.1 innings with  43 H, 31 Ks, and 23 BBs. During Dressler's senior season, COVID limited to 10 games; he posted a 2.25 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 1-0 record with one start in six appearances on the mound; pitched a total 12 innings with 8 H, 12 Ks, and 3 BBs.
