Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2012): Played in 25 games with 20 starts split between the outfield and as the Bearcats' designated hitter...batted .290 overall with two home runs and 9 runs batted in...registered three multi-hit games...was also used out of the bullpen, making 11 relief appearances...had a record of 1-1 with a 6.06 ERA and one save that came against Iowa Wesleyan on April 7.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Played at both the varsity and junior varsity levels...played in 29 games with 11 starts with the varsity program...batted .273 with one home run and five RBI...hit .185 in eight games with the JV squad.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Shared time between the varsity and JV teams...scored two runs and stole a base in nine games for the McKendree varsity team...hit .267 with eight RBI and stole a team-best four bases for the junior varsity team...received Academic All-Conference accolades.

BEFORE McK: Hit .313 with five home runs and 19 runs batted in as a senior at Breese Central High School...led the Cougars with four triples and nine stolen bases in 2009...earned honorable mention All-Area honors following his senior year...played for coach Kevin Crask.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Allen and Julie Thole.
