AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Pitched in one varsity contest in a relief role...tossed two-thirds of an inning against Iowa Wesleyan.

BEFORE McK: Went 5-3 with a 5.33 earned-run average as a senior at Collinsville High School...led Kahoks in strikeouts and innings pitched...also lead team with a .453 batting average and 13 stolen bases...earned first-team All-Conference and second-team All-Area accolades as a senior...played for coach Peter Trapp.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Duane and Jeannie Boehnke.
