AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Went 0-3 with a 7.02 earned-run average...made five starts in his six appearances on the mound.

2012 SEASON: Sat out as a redshirt.

BEFORE McK: Posted one victory with a 3.28 earned-run average in eight games as a senior at Okawville High School...was second on team with 39 strikeouts for the Rockets...helped Okawville to a regional title as a senior...played for coach Rick Gaebe.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Daniel and Linda Blumhorst.
