2015 SEASON: Was a redshirt for the Bearcats. 

BEFORE McK: Was a three-sport star at Waterloo High School…played on both sides of the line as a senior for the Bullodgs…recorded 10 tackles with one quarterback sack as a senior…helped Waterloo open the 2014 season with a five-game win streak.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Timothy and Theresa Sumpter.
