Biography

2016 SEASON: Started the Bearcats' season opener at home against Angelo State on Sept. 1...completed 7-of-16 pass attempts for 81 yards...added 67 rushing yards in the contest, including a career-long 59-yard scamper in the first quarter...punted three times for an average of 42 yards with a long of 46...missed the remainder of the year due to injury.

2015 SEASON: Garnered second-team All-GVLC honors as a punter...finished second in the league by averaging 39.9 yards per punt...had four punts of at least 50 yards, including a career-best 61-yard effort at Truman State on Nov. 14...had 13 punts travel inside the opponents' 20-yard line...went 1-for-3 for nine yards while serving as the Bearcats' backup quarterback...also had six rushes for 72 yards, including a 29-yarder in the Truman State contest. 

2014 SEASON: Saw action in two games in a reserve role at quarterback...completed both pass attempts for four yards, with passes coming at home against Ferris State on Sept. 4 and at Lincoln on Nov. 8...finished the season with a passing efficiency of 116.8.

2013 SEASON: Was a redshirt for the Bearcats.

BEFORE McK: Threw for 1,300 yards as a senior at DuQuoin High School...helped lead the Indians to a state quarterfinal berth...also served as a punter and kicker during his career...was named DuQuoin's Senior Athlete of the Year.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Steve Fred and Barbie McArthur.
