2013 SEASON: Played in two games as a reserve tight end...did not catch a pass.

2012 SEASON: Was a reserve tight end for McKendree...no varsity statistics.

2011 SEASON: Appeared in six games at tight end...caught one pass for six yards against Truman State.

BEFORE McK: Earned three letters as a tight end and wide receiver at Meadowbrook High School and Marion High School...helped Marion to a 9-2 record and the second round of the IHSA playoffs as a senior...was part of a nine-win squad and a Central Region runner-up finish while at Meadowbrook in 2008.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Steve and Cheryl Rooney.
