Eric Hubbard joined the McKendree University football staff in the summer of 2018. Hubbard will be responsible for coaching the Bearcats' linebacking corps.
Hubbard came to McKendree after spending the 2017 season as a coaching intern at Northern Illnois University. He worked primarily with the Huskies' linebackers. Hubbard's wide-ranging experience at NIU included practice planning and implementation, film scouting and breakdown, and recruiting.
Before that, Hubbard served as an assistant coach at Middleton High School in Wisconsin. From 2010-15, Hubbard held various coaching roles at Middleton, including receivers, defensive backs and return specialists.
Hubbard earned his bachelor's degree in history with a minor in coaching from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2012. He also completed his master's degree in sports management at Northern Illinois in 2017.
