Preston Foehrkalb will serve as a volunteer assistant coach for the McKendree University football program. Foehrkalb will assist with coaching the Bearcats' linebackers.
Foehrkalb, a native of Edwardsville, Ill., played collegiately at both Eastern Illinois University and Millikin University. He lettered as a senior for Millikin, where he was a safety for the Big Blue. Foehrkalb earned a bachelor's degree in history in 2002.
A two-year letterman at Edwardsville High School, Foehrkalb received the Tigers' Coaches Award in 1997.
Foehrkalb is currently enrolled in the Master's of Education program at McKendree, and is working toward a degree in secondary education.
