Tyler House returned to his alma mater in January 2019 to join the McKendree football coaching staff. House will assist Kenny-Ray Augustus in coaching the Bearcats' defensive line.Â
House was a two-year starter along the McKendree defensive line in 2015 and 2016, claiming honorable mention All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors each season. House posted 89 tackles in his Bearcats' career, including 15 1/2 tackles for loss and 10 quarterback sacks. He posted 50 tackles as a junior, the same season he registered a career-high 11 tackles in a game against Missouri S&T.Â
Before arriving at McKendree, House helped lead Mt. St. Antonio College to a California Community College Athletic Association championship. He was also a first-team All-County selection as a senior defensive lineman at Glenelg High School in Maryland.Â
A native of Los Angeles, Calif., House earned his bachelor's degree in Public Relations from McKendree in 2017.Â
