BEFORE McK: Earned three letters while playing at linebacker at Carterville High School...led the Lions with 127 tackles as a senior, including 104 solos...added three fumble recoveries during his senior season...collected All-Conference and All-South honors as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Steve and Karen Samuel.
