Biography

2022 SEASON: Played in all 11 games... making 16 tackles (13 unassisted)... including 4 stops twice vs Quicy and at Lindenwood... picked off 3 passes for 72 yards.

2021 SEASON: Played in all 11 games in the Bearcats’ secondary…recorded eight tackles, all solo stops…tallied two tackles in three different games…had one tackle for a loss at UIndy…broke up four passes, including a season high three at Southwest Baptist… collected one interception at Quincy, which set up McKendree’s game-winning field goal drive.
 
2020 SEASON: Played in both Bearcat games in the secondary…totaled two tackles, both of which came at UIndy and had one interception against Quincy.
 
BEFORE McK: Starred at defensive back as a senior at Edwardsville High School...had 36 total tackles with an interception and fumble recovery as a senior for the Tigers...earned first-team All-Conference accolades as a senior. 

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 11, 2001…son of Reginald Young and Tracy Eckerd…majoring in Art.
