Biography

2017 SEASON: Appeared in all 11 games as a reserve defensive back and on special teams...collected 12 tackles, including eight solos...had a season-high three stops at Missouri S&T on Oct. 21...grabbed his lone interception of the season on Sept. 23 at William Jewell. 

2017 SEASON: Saw action in four games as a reserve wide receiver...registered his lone catch of the season at home on Sept. 9 versus Kentucky State.

2016 SEASON: Played in 10 games, mostly on special teams...had two tackles against Lincoln, which included one solo.

BEFORE McK: Came to McKendree from Iowa Central Community College...had 30 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble in 2015 for the Tritons...also starred defensively at Crete-Monee High School, where he was a cornerback for the Warriors.

PERSONAL: Son of James and Deborah Young.
