McKendree University Athletics

2017 SEASON: Played in all 11 games as a reserve linebacker and special teams performer...recorded 24 tackles, which included 12 solos...notched a career-best four stops at home against Lincoln on Oct. 28. 

2016 SEASON: Appeared in eight games, primarily on special teams...registered three tackles, two of which came at home against Missouri S&T on Oct. 22...blocked a punt late in the fourth quarter that set up the game-winning score in the Bearcats' 20-16, come-from-behind Homecoming victory over Saint Joseph's on Oct. 15...earned GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week for the blocked punt. 

BEFORE McK: Spent his freshman season at Eureka College...played for former McKendree assistant coach Tim Funk at Belleville East High School...registered 25 tackles in his final two seasons with the Lancers...received the Scholar Student-Athlete Character Award at Belleville East.

PERSONAL: Is the son of John Alvin and Joy Roberson.
