Biography

2019 SEASON: Was fifth on the team with 49 total tackles, including 26 solos...turned in a season-best eight tackles on two different occasions - at home against Lindenwood on Oct. 5 and three weeks later at home versus Southwest Baptist on Oct. 26...broke up two passes...was second on the squad with 10 kickoff returns, averaging 23.8 yards per effort.

2018 SEASON: Played in all 11 games at defensive back...collected 44 tackles, which was good for seventh on the team...notched a season-high nine tackles at home against Truman State on Oct. 6...added two pass break-ups...had two kick returns for 62 yards, including a 38-yard effort at Lincoln on Nov. 10. 

2017 SEASON: Was a redshirt for the Bearcats.

BEFORE McK: Played at Whitehaven High School in Mississippi…earned All-Shelby Metro honors for the Tigers…was also a member of the Honor Roll and National English Honor Society at Whitehaven.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kenneth Garrett, Sr., and Catherine Garrett.
