BEFORE McK: Came to McKendree from Argenta-Oreana High School...had 27 catches for 350 yards with 11 touchdowns as a senior for the Bombers...nabbed All-Conference and All-Area honors as a senior...was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year...named All-Conference as a junior.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Loretta Benton.
