Biography

2017 SEASON: Earned honorable mention All-GLVC accolades...started all 11 games at quarterback...threw for 1,902 yards, which is the fourth-highest season total in program  history...had 13 touchdown passes and just four interceptions on 293 total attempts...topped the 200-yard mark in passing three times, including a season-best 252 yards at home against Quincy on Nov. 4...threw three TD passes three times (Southwest Baptist on Sept. 30, Missouri S&T on Oct. 21 and Lincoln on Oct. 28)...ranked in the top six in the GLVC in passing yards per game, passing efficiency and total offense...rushed for 130 yards on 50 attempts with four TD's...was third on the team in rushing...had two rushing scores at Hillsdale on Sept. 16. 

2016 SEASON: Started the Bearcats' final three games of the season at quarterback...completed 47-of-68 pass attempts for 630 yards with four touchdowns...made his first collegiate start a memorable one, completing 20-of-23 pass attempts for 346 yards at Lincoln on Oct. 29...connected on his first 10 pass attempts in the Lincoln contest...named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week for his effort at Lincoln...threw two touchdowns each at Quincy on Nov. 5 and at home versus Truman State on Nov. 12...also rushed for 101 yards with two rushing touchdowns...named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

2015 SEASON: No varsity statistics.

2014 SEASON: Sat out season as a redshirt.

BEFORE McK: Came to McKendree from Mount Carmel High School...threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for another 850 and accounted for 38 touchdowns as a senior for the Aces...nabbed All-State and All-Conference honors as a senior...put up 2,900 total yards with 25 touchdowns as a junior...earned All-State and All-Conference accolades as a junior...helped team to a conference title and a berth in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Roger and Shonda Metcalf.
