Biography

2013 SEASON: Led McKendree tight ends with 14 receptions for 130 yards...was fifth on squad in catches...posted season-best four receptions at Saint Joseph's College on Oct. 26...notched lone TD catch of the year at Missouri S & T on Nov. 9...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.

2012 SEASON: Split time as a tight end and offensive lineman...did not have a pass reception...named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

2011 SEASON: Registered 12 tackles with five solos as a reserve defensive lineman...had season-best three stops against Saint Ambrose...posted two tackles for loss and a quarterback sack.

BEFORE McK: Was a two-way standout at Lincoln High School...was second on team with 46 tackles as a senior...led the Railsplitters with six tackles for loss...added 12 catches for 123 yards as a tight end, finishing second on team in both categories...was a two-time honorable mention All-Conference selection...was twice named as Lincoln's Defensive Most Valuable Player.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kent and Barbara Bowlby.
