2022 SEASON: Appeared in all 11 games, making 9 starts. Caught 75 passes for 1144 yards (led the GLVC as the only receiver over 1,000 yards/ 11th in Division II) and 10 touchdowns (led the GLVC), which led the team in both yards and TDs. He was also the main punt returner for the Bearcats as he returned 7 punts for 123 yards, including one touchdown on his career long return of 95 yards vs Quincy (10/15)... was named GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week on 10/17... also returned 4 kickoffs for 112 yards with a long return of 48 yards... 4th in the GLVC in all-purpose yards with 1,379...
BEFORE McK: Played the past two seasons (2020-21) at Butler University…as a redshirt freshman in 2021, earned First-Team All-Pioneer Football League honors after appearing in 11 games and led Butler and was third in the PFL with 774 receiving yards…averaged 70.4 yards per game and 16.1 yards per catch…tallied six receiving touchdowns and caught 48 passes on the year…caught at least one pass in every game…during his freshman campaign in the Spring of 2021, he was a Hero Sports’ Freshman All-American and a Second-Team All-PFL selection…named Butler’s Newcomer of the Year…on the year, he played in six games and started the final three games of his freshman campaign…led team with 387 receiving yards and also caught 24 passes and averaged 16.1 yards per catch and 64.5 yards per game…in his final game of the season against Morehead State, he had 10 catches for 137 yards and a touchdown…in high school at Belleville East, he was a four-year lettermen and three-year starter for head coach Mike Harrison…topped 700 receiving yards as a senior with 11 touchdowns…named First-Team All-Conference and was the team’s captain…left Belleville East as the school’s all-time record holder for receiving yards…also played basketball and track and field at Belleville East.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 4, 2001…son of Yohance and Stacy Flager…majoring in Computer Science…has a sister, Rayona...his cousins, Donovan Bieber and Roger Wolf are both members of the Bearcats' football team, while Gregory Wells is a member of the McKendree men's basketball team...lists the New Orleans Saints and LSU as his favorite professional and college football teams.
