2013 SEASON: Appeared in three games as a backup quarterback...completed 2-of-3 pass attempts, with both completions coming against Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 16...had a pair of rush attempts versus Indianapolis on Oct. 12...received Academic All-GLVC honors.

2012 SEASON: Saw action in the fourth quarter of the Bearcats' game at Urbana...attempted two passes on the final drive of the contest.

BEFORE McK: Was a three-year letterman at Illini West High School...was the starting quarterback for the Chargers during their run to the IHSA Class 3A state title as a senior in 2010...threw for 830 yards and rushed for 201 yards as a senior...earned All-Conference honors as a senior...was part of two Illini West state title teams in three years.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Mark and Julie Schmudlach...brother Drake is a senior linebacker for the Bearcats.
