Jordan Brooks

Jordan Brooks is entering his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the McKendree University men’s basketball program. Brooks comes to McKendree after playing the past two seasons at Eureka College in Eureka, Ill.

As a student-athlete at Eureka, Brooks played in a total of 36 games over two seasons (2020-22) for the Red Devils and averaged 4.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game and shot 39 percent from the field and 39 percent from the 3-point line.

During his senior year in 2021-22, Brooks played in 25 games and made five starts as a guard for Coach Chip Wilde. On the season, he scored 91 points and shot 37 percent from the field and 39 percent from the 3-point line. He had two double-digit scoring games as he tallied 11 points against York (N.Y.) and scored 12 points in a win over Monmouth (Ill.).

Prior to playing at Eureka, Brooks began his collegiate career at Lincoln Land Community College. He played two seasons (2018-20) at Lincoln Land and in those two seasons, he played in 58 games and made 41 starts, including playing in and starting all 31 games in 2019-20. In 2019-20, he shot 40 percent from both the field and 3-point line and averaged 10.5 points per game. As a freshman in 2018-19, he played in 27 games and made 10 starts and averaged 21.9 minutes per game and averaged 4.0 points and 2.2 assists per game.

Brooks played high school basketball for his father, Brian Brooks, at St. Joseph Ogden High School and while in high school, he earned Third-Team IBCA All-State honors and was a member of the the school's 2016 Class 2A State Championship team.

He is a native of St. Joseph, Ill., and earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Eureka in 2022 and is currently pursuing an MBA from McKendree University.
