Korbin Farmer

Korbin Farmer is entering his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the McKendree University men’s basketball program. Farmer came to McKendree after a standout four-year collegiate basketball career at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill.

As a student-athlete at Millikin, Farmer played in 93 games and made 44 starts from 2016-20, including playing in 22 and starting 19 games as a senior in 2019-20.

In his time with the Big Blue, Farmer scored 465 points, pulled down 340 rebounds, dished out 53 assists, blocked 64 shots and collected 42 steals. Averaged 5.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in his career.

Additionally, he shot 51.2 percent from the field in his career, including shooting 64.8 percent (48-for-74) from the field as a sophomore in 2017-18. Scored over 115 points in a season three times, including tallying 124 points during the 2019-20 campaign.

Served as the team captain in 2019-20 and was also a member of the Millikin’s FCA and started FCA Huddle on the Millikin campus. He was also a three-year member of Millikin’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a two-time President (2019, 2020) of the Millikin Council.

In the classroom, was a four-time member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Winter All-Academic Team and was a four-time recipient of the CCIW’s Jack Swartz Award. In addition, he was an eight-time member of the Dean’s List, a Presidental Scholar and a Scovill Award winner.  

Farmer, who is a native of Columbia, Ill., earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Millikin in 2020 and is currently pursuing an MBA from McKendree University.
