  • Title
    Men's Basketball Student Manager

Tyler Snyder joined the McKendree University men’s basketball program ahead of the 2025-26 season as student manager.

The sophomore’s duties in the program include operational tasks, such as organization, practice setup, and laundry. He also assists the coaches with warm-ups, stat-tracking in practice, and making sure games are run smoothly.

Snyder was key in the team’s national success during the 2025-26 campaign as the squad made two appearances in the NABC Coaches poll at No.23 both times, while receiving votes just outside the top-25 in several other weeks. The Bearcats finished with a 22-8 overall record, with a 14-6 GLVC mark, to record the most wins in their NCAA-era for both total and conference. He helped assist the growth of Andrew Moore, who received the program's first-ever GLVC Freshman of the Year honor, while the team finished third in all of Division II in field goal percentage defense (38.3%).

Before stepping foot on campus in Lebanon, Snyder attended Limestone Community High School in Bartonville, Illinois, where he was a four-year student manager for men’s basketball, a two-year manager for football, and also competed in throwing events for the track & field squad for two years.

Along his contribution in Rocket athletics, Snyder was indulged in other school activities, including the Key Club for a year, student council for a year, the chess team for two years, and contributing to the annual Easterseals campaign every year.

Off the court, Snyder is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, as he enjoys attending Cardinals and Blues games, golfing, and being outside.

Snyder is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at McKendree University.
