Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2016): Did not play as a junior.....collected Academic All-MIVA accolades.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Appeared in seven matches, playing in 10 total sets...had 14 kills along with seven assisted blocks...put down four attacks at Limestone on March 8...had two blocks apiece in contests against Morningside (Jan. 24) and Ball State (April 11)...earned Academic All-Conference honors from the MIVA.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Led team with a .324 hitting percentage while putting down 140 kills, good for fifth on the squad...had a season-high 12 kills at Culver-Stockton on March 1...hit better than .500 in all three contests where he had at least 10 kills...finished second on squad with 61 blocks (seven solos)...put down season-high eight blocks in a home contest versus Culver-Stockton on Feb. 15.
BEFORE McK: Was a three-year letterman at Marquette High School in St. Louis…averaged 3.25 kills per set and 1.78 serving points per game as a senior…was a first-team All-Conference selection in the Suburban West Conference as a senior…helped the Mustangs to a Class 4 Missouri district title in 2012…qualified for Open Division at J.O. Nationals with club team four times (2009 through 2012).
PERSONAL: Is the son of Fred and Karen Abrolat.
